An in-depth environmental noise study has been carried out to assess the impact of the new masterplan, the new stadium and associated road traffic on the San Siro area. Our methodology has involved conducting a baseline noise survey and accurate noise modelling of the various sound sources including the stadium, under different use case scenarios. The environmental impact assessment and the proposed noise mitigation strategies have been updated for each of the several revisions of the project. A comparison has been made of the reduced impact of the proposed solutions with the noise emission of the current stadium.

We also assisted the project coordinators in their dialogue with the Municipality and participated in the Public Debate process held in 2022, reporting on noise mitigation plans.
